Processing sales via telephone / fax / e-mail and dealing with customer queries resulting from sales
Main duties:
· Answering telephone calls.
· Processing orders via telephone, fax and e-mail onto a customised computer system.
· Liaising with Sales Representatives pertaining to displays, orders, queries etc.
· Assisting customers with floor plans and quantity calculations.
· Answering telephone queries.
· Solving customer problems / complaints.
· Liaising with warehouse / carriers with reference to distribution.
· Checking order accuracy.
· Associated administrative tasks, e.g. pro-formas, carrier documentation etc.
· Working with the team to achieve various other tasks as required.
Tools and equipment used:
Telephone, fax, photocopier and various computer software packages
Person specification:
· Excellent communication skills with a confident, pleasant telephone manner.
· Knowledge/understanding of export documentation is desirable.
· A team player.
· Good standard of education, A’ levels or equivalent. Basic mathematical ability essential.
· Accurate keyboard skills and experience of data entry.
· Customer service / sales order processing experience.
· A willingness to learn.
· Able to work in an organized and methodical manner.
· Able to distinguish colour ranges.
Our client is also looking for candidates who are fluent in French to work in their Export department.
