Recruitment Consultant Bristol OTE £50K

Our client is a international recruitment company that provides specialist Research and Development and IT staff to work on customer projects across Europe. Typically these are leading technology projects examples include the development of mobile phone broadband-type Internet connection and multi-media applications for digital TV. Their client list includes some of the best-known brands in the electronics industry. With an expanding order book and ambitious growth plans the company is seeking to appoint a new sales consultant to manage existing accounts and develop new opportunities. You will join a team that works closely with clients (through regular meetings) to fulfil their staffing requirements using databases, advertising and a network of contacts. By specialising in a market - defined by an area of technology-you will also identify new business leads using media reports and contacts. You will need a proven sales background in either recruitment or business-to-business sales, a good educational background, good written and verbal communication skills and be interested in new technology and IT systems. Initial training will be given and mentoring will be provided as required. These roles involve a combination of customer management and sales and it is therefore important that the right candidate can build strong relationships customers and when required negotiate on service-levels and fees. Our client is offering a good basic salary £23K - £30K + commission (on-target earning in excess of £50,000 in first year) + Pension. You would be given a target level of commission that is reviewed regularly. Based in their Bristol office you will join a small office that has rapid expansion plans and is part of a larger branch network. You will start as a Recruitment Sales Consultant but will have the opportunity to progress into more senior roles. (that include management responsibilities).
