PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Working within the Marketing Department and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will maintain and enhance the six Company websites ensuring they are in line with current trends and promoting our corporate image. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES • Maintaining the six Company websites on a day-to-day basis, including updates to products, promotions and ‘nearest retailer’ information. • Writing specifications for new web projects, for internal review and basis for external developers. • Designing and building new websites and web pages with HTML, CSS and experience of PHP and jQuery. With particular consideration towards usability and consistent company branding. • Providing regular statistical reports on web traffic and the effectiveness of web advertising, including the management of Google Adword campaigns. • Recommending improvements in style, content and structure to existing websites. • Developing new navigation structures/areas within existing sites in line with consumers needs, and Company strategy. • Working with third party suppliers to commission and project manage new websites, or other significant assignments, as and when required.
